Nursery Nurture & Early Learning by Little Cub

Little Cub training can empower Nursery Practitioners by delivering bespoke and passionate training which will inform, support and guide colleagues in all aspects of the very earliest education.

All training will provide participants with a space to reflect, refresh and learn through a baby led approach.

The Baby Room is arguably the most important room in the Early Year’s setting. Babies are totally dependant on their caregiver and are vulnerable. It is a period of rapid and significant change both physically and mentally.

 

Government policy (1001 Critical Days) recognises this time period as being the most critical in a persons life: shaping future health, relationships and thus life chances.

 

Little Cub can empower practitioners by delivering bespoke and passionate training which will inform, support and guide colleagues in all aspects of early education.

Baby Learning to Walk

Areas of Expertise

Nursery Nurture by Little Cub

All training will teach nursery nurture through a baby led approach and will encourage development of the infant’s 8 senses.

 

Areas of expertise include:

  • PRIME Play: This is my signature course which provides a  detailed look at the EYFS Prime Areas, specifically for the Baby Room. 

  • Song, Movement and Gentle Touch to connect play and learn in the Baby Room. Training includes gentle yoga and fun baby massage

  • Brilliant Books: Letting Literature Lead the way in the Baby Room

  • The Tummy Time Learner

  • Role of the Key Worker

  • Safer use of sensory lights

  • Safer sleep practice

  • Conscious ‘container’ use. Looking at the use of bouncers, walkers etc in the nursery setting. Examining impact on development and current guidelines.
