We focus on the Prime Areas of Learning: speech, language, physical, and social-emotional development. We create a skills led teaching environment for professionals and families to be able them to support their little ones' growth and development during those earliest months and years.
My Story
I’m Sally, the founder and owner of Little Cub!
I have worked with with babies, children, and families in a variety of educational and leadership roles for around 25 years!
I began my career as a Nursery Assistant and later became a BTEC-trained Nursery Nurse, working across all age groups, from babies to toddlers and preschool. I then earned Qualified Teacher Status and progressed to teaching and leadership roles, including phase leader and assistant headteacher with responsibility for English and PSHE.
In recent years, I’ve focused on early years development, leading baby and toddler groups where I run educational music and movement classes for families. In 2023, I launched Little Cub Nurture Hub to specifically focus on infant play and parent-baby classes. My goal for the sessions was to create enriching, supportive spaces where parents and babies could bond and learn together.
Alongside my teaching, I have qualified as a baby massage and yoga instructor, infant developmental play practitioner, and tummy time practitioner. This training helps me design engaging parent classes and offer professional development for nursery practitioners.
After launching my own classes, I was approached by a local nursery to share my expertise with their team. I loved the experience and soon began developing my own training workshops for baby room practitioners.
