About Sally

​

I’m Sally, the founder of Little Cub Nurture Hub, creator of the Baby Room Training Club and an Early Years teacher.

​

I’ve worked in education for around 25 years, starting my career as a Nursery Assistant before qualifying as a BTEC Nursery Nurse. I then went on to train as a teacher and gain Qualified Teacher Status, working across Early Years and Primary in both teaching and leadership roles.

​

I’m now a Reception teacher, which means I’m still very much in the classroom and working with children every day. I think this is really important because it keeps me connected to what actually happens in schools and early years settings. I’m not just creating training from a desk. I’m still doing the job too.

​

Over the years, my work has increasingly focused on the very beginning of a child’s learning journey. I’ve worked with babies and toddlers, led baby and toddler groups and delivered music, movement and developmental sessions for families.

 

This is what led me to create Little Cub Nurture Hub.

​

I wanted to create a place where Early Years practitioners could access practical ideas, useful training and resources that actually make a difference in their everyday practice.

​

I’m also the creator of the Baby Room Content Club, supporting practitioners working with babies aged 0 to 24 months with practical resources, play ideas, communication strategies, EYFS support and professional learning.

​

Alongside my teaching and the Baby Room Content Club, I deliver CPD and training for Early Years settings across the country. I love being able to visit different settings, meet practitioners and see the incredible work that happens every day.

 

I’ve also trained in baby massage and yoga, infant developmental play and tummy time. These areas have helped me develop a deeper understanding of babies’ development, movement, communication and the importance of responsive relationships.

I’m passionate about keeping things practical. I don’t believe professional development should just give you something interesting to think about. I want practitioners to finish training with ideas they can actually use.

And ultimately, everything I do comes back to the same thing:
