My Story
About Sally
I’m Sally, the founder and owner of Little Cub Nurture Hub.

For around 25 years, I’ve worked with babies, children, and families across a wide range of educational and leadership roles. I began my career as a Nursery Assistant before training as a BTEC Nursery Nurse, later gaining Qualified Teacher Status and moving into teaching and leadership across Early Years and Primary. My roles have included phase leader and assistant headteacher with responsibility for English and PSHE.

Alongside running Little Cub, I still teach Early Years and Primary regularly. Remaining connected to the classroom keeps my practice grounded, informed, and reflective- something I believe is essential in the ever-changing world of early education.

In recent years, my work has focused on the very start of a child’s learning journey. I’ve led baby and toddler groups and run educational music and movement sessions for families. In 2023, I launched Little Cub Nurture Hub to create enriching, supportive spaces where parents and babies can bond, play, and grow together.
​
I have also trained as a baby massage and yoga instructor, infant developmental play practitioner, and tummy time practitioner. These specialisms allow me to design developmentally rich parent–baby classes and deliver meaningful, practical CPD for early years professionals.

To strengthen my expertise even further, I recently worked as a practitioner in a baby room. This hands-on experience has deepened my understanding of the realities of baby room practice and enhanced my ability to deliver high-quality, relevant training that genuinely supports practitioners in their day-to-day roles.
